Adrion Cultural Heritage Collections Network - ADRINETBOOK

Adrion Cultural Heritage Collections Network - ADRINETBOOK project, is supported by Interreg ADRION Programme funded under the European Regional Development fund and IPA II Fund and led by Municipality of Macerata.

The project will last 30 months (03-2020/09-2022) with the aim to promote, valorise and protect cultural heritage in the Adriatic-Ionian area.

The project aims at:

  • enhancing and conserving specific cultural properties especially books;
  • making the digitized heritage accessible to a broader public.

 

This objective will be pursued through:

  • the creation of a network composed by operators of the cultural and tourism sectors and their training;
  • the digitization of selected collections realised using common standards and methodologies and integrating them in a common platform;
  • the promotion of the tourism of the cultural heritage sites through itenareris.

 

The project will contribute to:

  • raising awareness on common heritage in the Adriatic-Ionian area as an orientation framework for individual actions;
  • the valorisation of cultural heritage within an Adrion brand name;
  • the enhancement of the “body of knowledge” through the digitization pilot actions.
