Partage Plus

Partage Plus (2012-2014) was a European digitisation project focusing on Art Nouveau.
Art Nouveau was all the rage between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, and it is well-represented, in almost any art form, in many European regions. In fact, it was known under several different names: Liberty in Italy, Art Nouveau in France, Jugendstil in Germany, and Secessionism in Austria.
The transnational nature of Art Nouveau made it particularly well-suited for a cultural initiative involving 23 partners from 17 European countries, under the leadership of the UK-based Collections Trust.

ICCU coordinated the digitisation activities of three Italian Institutes - the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Andersen Museum and the Archives of 20th Century Applied Arts – which made available online more than 10,000 images and other information related to sculptures, drawings, paintings, magazines, photographs, decorations and archive documents.

At the conclusion of the Partage Plus project, over 76,000 items including prints, paintings, statues, photographs, and archive documents concerning Art Nouveau and documenting the activities of renowned artists such as Gaudì, Mucha, Cambellotti, and Basile are available on Europeana, the European digital library,
Some of this material was digitized in 3D using a 3D laser scanner.
